The International Vital Code Association is the independent body responsible for certifying and registering Vital Code practitioners worldwide. We set the standards, uphold the ethics, and maintain the public register.
Our Purpose
Who We Are
IVCA is the only independent, internationally recognised body for the certification and registration of Vital Code practitioners.
Our job is to protect the public and raise professional standards. We do that by assessing competence, publishing and enforcing a binding ethical code, and keeping a transparent public register that clients, employers, and partners can check at any time.
We are not a training provider or a commercial brand. We are a standards body, independent of the training market, and our sole purpose is to make sure the title "Certified Vital Code Practitioner" means something wherever Vital Code is practised.

Independence Guarantee
IVCA keeps its standard-setting work entirely separate from commercial training. Board members with active training interests must declare those interests and step back from any decisions on authorisation, curriculum standards, or assessment criteria.
No training provider, coaching brand, or commercial interest influences IVCA's certification decisions. That separation is what gives the credential its value.

Membership & Register
We maintain a public register of verified practitioners that anyone can search: clients, employers, insurers, and referral partners alike. Every listing shows current credential status, tier, and renewal standing.
Ethics & Conduct
We publish and enforce a binding Code of Ethics covering client welfare, confidentiality, competence, integrity, and continuous development. A structured complaints and disciplinary process handles all reported breaches.
Public Directory & Verification
Our online directory helps the public find a qualified practitioner. The instant verification tool confirms whether a practitioner's certificate is genuine, current, and issued by IVCA.

How We Are Governed
IVCA is governed by a volunteer board of directors with no ties to any commercial training provider or coaching brand.
The board includes practising Vital Code professionals, educators, and independent members from law, healthcare regulation, and public policy. Advisory panels covering certification, ethics, education, and international development report to the board for formal ratification.
