IVCA-T Credential
IVCA Authorised Trainers
The IVCA-T is the highest credential in the Vital Code profession — granted only to Master practitioners who have passed an independent curriculum assessment. Only graduates of IVCA Authorised Trainer programmes qualify for IVCA certification.
The IVCA-T Credential
What is an IVCA Authorised Trainer?
A formal licence — not just a credential level — that certifies the trainer's curriculum, methodology, and professional standing meet IVCA's independent standards.
Independent Licence
Trainer status is granted by IVCA's Education Panel following a rigorous curriculum review, teaching assessment, and professional conduct check. It is not self-reported.
Gateway to Certification
Only graduates of IVCA Authorised Trainer programmes are eligible to apply for IVCA practitioner certification. Training with a non-authorised provider does not count.
Annual Renewal
IVCA-T status must be renewed annually alongside IVCA membership. This ensures trainer quality is continuously monitored, not assumed from a one-time assessment.
IVCA maintains strict independence between training and certification. Authorised Trainers deliver training; IVCA independently assesses and certifies graduates. This separation protects the integrity of every IVCA credential for practitioners, employers, and the public.
Verified & Current
Looking for an Authorised Trainer?
Every trainer in the IVCA directory holds an active IVCA-T credential — independently verified and renewed annually.
Search by name, country, or specialisation. Always verify a trainer's credential before enrolling in their programme.
Why Choose an IVCA Authorised Trainer?
- Programmes meet IVCA's published curriculum standards
- Trainers are assessed before and periodically re-assessed after authorisation
- Completion of an approved programme is a prerequisite for IVCA certification
- Trainer credentials are publicly verifiable at any time

IVCA-T Application
How to Become an IVCA Authorised Trainer
Open to IVCA Master credential holders who meet the educational and assessment requirements. Rigorous, fair, and fully independent.
Hold an Active Master Credential
You must hold an active IVCA Master credential in good standing. There is no separate pathway for those who have not first achieved Master-level certification. Your membership must also be current.
Submit Your Application
Complete the Trainer Application form and submit your curriculum design, assessment methodology, teaching experience portfolio, and evidence of practice supervision hours. All documents must be in English.
Education Panel Assessment
Your application is reviewed by IVCA's independent Education Panel. If shortlisted, you will be invited to a formal assessment including a curriculum review interview and an observed or recorded teaching demonstration.
Authorisation Granted — IVCA-T
Successful applicants receive the IVCA-T credential, are listed in the Authorised Trainer directory, and gain access to the trainer portal — including tools for submitting training completion certificate requests for graduates.
Assessment timeline is typically 8–12 weeks from submission of a complete application. Fees apply — see the application form for current charges.
For Authorised Trainers
IVCA Training Completion Certificates
Authorised Trainers can request IVCA-issued training completion certificates for graduates of their accredited programmes.
When a graduate completes an IVCA-authorised training programme, the trainer may request that IVCA issue an official training completion certificate in the graduate's name. This certificate confirms that:
- The programme was delivered by an IVCA Authorised Trainer
- The programme met IVCA's independently benchmarked educational criteria
- The named individual successfully completed the programme to the required standard
Training completion certificates are issued by IVCA directly and carry IVCA branding and a unique certificate reference number, verifiable via the credential verification tool. They are distinct from IVCA practitioner credentials — they record training completion, not IVCA certification.
Certificate fees: A per-certificate charge applies. Trainers are invoiced monthly for certificates issued on their behalf. Current pricing is available in the trainer portal.
