CPD Requirements

Certified practitioners must meet one annual CPD requirement to maintain their credential: the Vital Code Annual Update.

CPD is a condition of membership renewal. Practitioners, Masters, and Trainers who do not complete the annual update will not be able to renew their credential. Foundation members are not subject to this requirement.

IVCA's CPD requirement is intentionally straightforward: one mandatory course per year, created by Nuno Cortez, keeping every certified practitioner current with the latest developments in the Vital Code Method.

The Annual Requirement

Vital Code Annual Update

8 hours. Mandatory for all Practitioners, Masters, and Trainers. Included in your membership.

What It Is

The Vital Code Annual Update is an 8-hour digital course created by Nuno Cortez. Each edition covers the main evolutions of the Vital Code Method from the preceding year: new techniques, clinical refinements, paradigmatic cases, and applied research. It is the primary way certified practitioners stay current with the method at source.

  • Created by Nuno Cortez — a direct update from the method's author
  • 8 hours, 100% digital — complete at your own pace
  • Included in all Practitioner, Master, and Trainer memberships
  • Must be completed within each membership year
  • Completion is recorded automatically in your member area
