Provide your personal details, training history, certification evidence, and any supporting documentation. For paid tiers, you will also provide payment details. Applications are typically reviewed within 5 to 10 working days.

Once approved, your membership activates immediately. You will receive your digital credential, verification badge, directory listing, and access to the member dashboard, all ready to use.

Membership is your active registration with IVCA that keeps your credential valid, your directory listing active, and your verification page live. It is maintained by annual renewal. Think of certification as the qualification and membership as the professional licence that keeps it active.
No. IVCA membership requires that you hold a recognised certification at one of the four tiers. The Foundation tier requires completion of an approved Foundation programme through an IVCA Authorised Trainer. This policy protects the integrity of the register and the value of every credential listed.
If your membership lapses, your directory listing is removed and your credential verification page is marked as inactive. Your certification is not revoked, but it is no longer publicly verifiable through IVCA until you renew. Foundation members (free tier) must still confirm their details annually to remain listed.
Yes. As you progress through certification levels, you can upgrade your membership to reflect your new credential. The upgrade process is handled through your member dashboard, and you will only pay the difference for the remainder of your current billing period.
Yes. You can apply to upgrade your membership tier at any time provided you meet the eligibility requirements for the higher tier. Contact IVCA or submit an upgrade application through your member dashboard. Fees will be pro-rated to your renewal date where applicable.
